Eyes Wide Open is a blend of coffees, roasted with intention of appealing to the widest range of palates. The flavor profile is generally dried fruits, cocoa, and nuts, but more specifically dates, dark chocolate, and dry-roasted walnuts. The flavor profile develops and improves as it cools.
Because coffee is an agricultural product, no harvest of coffee is available year-round. This means any blend must replace its constituent components as the year passes; EWO is designed with modularity in mind, so the flavor profile can be both sophisticated and repeatable no matter the time of year.
EWO has a balanced sweetness, acidity, and brightness. It provides enough complexity to appeal to the coffee connoisseur, while also being approachable for the average coffee drinker.
